Kenya: Kenya Breweries Limited to sponsor the Tusker Cup tournament
Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) will once again sponsor the Tusker Cup tournament this year, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation communicated on February 3.
A top company official confided in a section of the local press that plans are already underway to host the tournament which last year attracted teams from Ghana, South Africa and Tanzania.
The official however said they are not keen to be dragged into extraneous mattersl with KFF like it happened last year. "We certainly are not keen on the negative reports that appeared in the press regarding the tournament last year," he said.
