USA: Anheuser-Busch to hire agency for its Budweiser Select brand
Anheuser-Busch, the largest USA brewery, hired Peterson Milla Hooks of Minneapolis to work on the company’s Budweiser Select brand, according to a media report of December 27.
The bulk of the brand's work had been handled by DDB Worldwide, an Omnicom Group firm in Chicago, trade publication Advertising Age said in its issue of December 19. The publication stated that since the brand's launch in February 2005, the brewery was making marketing adjustments.The brand's national ad debut was in the Feb. 6, 2005, telecast of Super Bowl.
Bud Select has a 1.6 % share of supermarket beer sales, according to figures quoted from Information Resources Inc.
