Brewing news Finland: Sinebrychoff brings Baltika to Finland

The market leader of Russian beers, Baltika, entered the Finnish market in November, when Sinebrychoff begins the distribution of Baltika nr7, Sinebrychoff, the oldest industrial brewery in the Nordic countries, communicated in a press release on December 6. Baltika brewery’s fresh and full-flavoured flagship Baltika nr7 is a natural addition to Sinebrychoff’s imported quality beers. Foreign top brands from both the East and West are now available to Finns, as American favourite Budweiser is already a part of the Sinebrychoff selection.

The triumphant march of Slavic lager

“Baltika is an internationally popular premium product; it is among the top three beer brands in Europe. Baltika was looking for a distributor in Finland, and our negotiations led to a positive result at the end of last summer. Baltika nr7 is a very good product to complement our versatile selection of quality beers,” says Marketing Manager Pekka Tennilä.

Baltika beer is the market leader in Russia, and Baltika nr7 is the brewery’s flagship product. It is a Slavic blond lager, and has a light, fresh and aroma-rich taste. The product is sold in long-necked, green profile bottles that have a screw-on crown cap, and is therefore suitable for drinking straight out of the bottle.

The high-quality Baltika nr7 is already familiar to many Finns from their travels, and at the same time it is a perfect beverage choice for the style-conscious looking for new experiences.

Baltika at Levi season opening

Baltika is present at the Levi ski-season opening party this weekend. The main attraction at the event is a 36-metre long and 14-metre wide Baltika Zeppelin at the foot of the slopes. The zeppelin can also be seen in Helsinki at a later date.

Sinebrychoff and Levi go back a long way, and therefore Sinebrychoff’s novelty is deeply involved in the weekend’s activities.
