USA: Healy Wholesale Co. acquires beer business enabling to distribute Coors, Heineken, Guinness, Fosters and other imported beers
Healy Wholesale Co. Inc. has acquired the beer business of Sullivan Wholesale Co. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, Fayetteville observer announced on December 1st.
This acquisition enables Healy distribute Coors, Heineken, Guinness, Fosters and other imported beers, said Mac Healy, the company’s president. Healy already distributes brands such as Miller, Yuengling, Rolling Rock and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
‘‘This gives us a real range of brands, from the high-end imports to the malt liquors. The acquisition follows a national trend, Distributors are combining marketing power”, Healy said.
Healy distributes beer and wine in Cumberland and 11 other counties. The Sullivan deal closed on November 28.
