Canada: Russell Brewing Company Expands Distribution to Victoria, British Columbia
Russell Brewing Company, a producer of premium draught beer for fine pubs and eateries, announced on November 23 it has recently expanded distribution to Victoria, British Columbia.
After ten years of exclusively distributing premium draught beer within Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Whistler Village, Russell beer is now available in Victoria, British Columbia’s capital city. With more then 340,000 residents, the region has the second largest population in the Province and has over 440 pubs, restaurants and nightclubs.
“Victoria is known as one of the world’s hot-beds for craft beers and we are really excited to introduce Russell beer to the fine accounts on Vancouver Island,” said Andrew Harris, President. “We are very pleased with our growth since we acquired the brewery in January 2004; in fact, over the past six quarters our sales have almost tripled in the Great Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Whistler districts. We now look forward to expanding our distribution to Vancouver Island, and eventually to other markets in British Columbia.”
