EU: EU barley crop estimates

All EU barley crop estimates are between 52 and 53 Million tonnes. Since last month crop figures improved slightly in Denmark and Finland, but they were a bit lower in Poland, the Czech and Slovak Republics, so that the overall total did not change at all. Only in a small band from Bavaria through the Czech Republic to Slovakia and Hungary weather damage occurred, the usually rainy U.K. and Scandinavia were lucky weatherwise and harvested sound crops of good malting quality.
