Brewing news USA: David Rehr to leave National Beer Wholesalers Association

David Rehr the president of National Beer Wholesalers Association is quitting this position to take another: President of the National Association of Broadcasters.

Mr. Rehr, 46, signed a multi-year agreement and will assume the NAB leadership post on December 5, 2005. His selection comes after a high-level executive search process was launched in February after current NAB President and CEO Eddie Fritts announced plans to step down, according to the publication, Broadcast Engineering.

Phillip A. Short, the NBWA Board Chair said in connection to this: “David K. Rehr has provided great leadership to the National Beer Wholesalers Association during his tenure over the past 13 years, and the members of NBWA wish him all the best in his new capacity as president and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters”
