Germany: Holsten brewer changes name

The German Holsten group which is the Carlsberg subsidiary in Germany has changed its name. From now on the former Holsten will be called Carlsberg Deutschland Group.

Mr. Burgard who is the CEO of German Carlsberg subsidiary announced on October 11 that this name change will leave unattached the Holsten beer brand, that is it will keep its name. He stated also that the German Carlsberg intends to increase its beer production to 200000 hectolitres yearly.
