Brewing news Russia: SUN Interbrew starts new advertising campaign for Brahma®.

SUN Interbrew announces the start of a new TV advertising campaign in support of Brahma®. Two new ads are on air now under slogan “On the Brazilian Wave”.The campaign is aimed at raising the brand awareness and its positioning as compared to other pale beer brands present on the Russian market.

Brahma® was launched almost simultaneously by InBev, represented in Russia by SUN Interbrew, on the markets of several countries, Russia included, in March-April.This popular Brazilian brand that has been known in its home market since the end of the 19th century, has revived. According to InBev’s press release announcing the1st half year results, the global launch of Brahma® that grew by +20% “will strengthen the volumes of the company’s premium brand portfolio, going forward. With this launch, we aspire to bring the authenticity of Brazil to consumers in more than 15 countries, worldwide, during 2005”.

Two new ads that are on air now continue the original concept, inviting the consumers to get tuned to “the Brazilian wave”. Brazil is ginga, a special attitude towards life, when impossible things become reality and dreams come true, it’s a life with an effortless flair, with a lot of opportunities, it is a peculiar life style and rhythm of movements and shapes. All these features are present in Brahma® that has a slight exotic after-note and is bottled in unique glass bottles with curved lines.

The TV ’30 ads “On the Brazilian Wave” were created by advertising agencies Adventa Lowe and McGarryBowen (producer – Allen Martinez) and will be shown on national TV channels till the end of the year.
