Germany: InBev could buy more German beer brands
John Brock, the chief executive of Inbev, announced that the company could buy beer brands in Germany, according to AFX as of September . Inbev, currently, has a market share of 10 % in Germany and is second only to Oetker Group.
Germany is a strategically important market for the Inbev group, which already owns brands such as Becks, Hasseroeder and Franziskaner here, Brock said. It could try to reach for market leadership in the region.
