EU: Export licence bookings so far

EU malt export licence bookings July 1 – August 30 were 338,000 tonnes.

In 2004, 422,000 tons were fixed till August 24. According to analysts if licence bookings and malt shipments continued at the same pace, total exports in 2005/06 would arrive at little more than 2 Millones tonnes, another decrease of 200,000 tonnes for the year and, what is worse, a decrease of almost half a Million tons in two years.
