Ukraine: Barley harvest progress, July 20
According to operative data as of July 20, Ukrainian barley was harvested from the area 957,000 hectares, which makes 21% percent of the forecast, and obtained 1.937 million tonnes of the grain. Barley average yield continues to decline, as of July 20 it made 2.02 tonnes per hectare.
Last year of the same date barley was harvested 1.92 million tonnes from 677,700 hectares (18 % of the forecast) at the average yield 2.84 tonnes per hectare.
As of July 20, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 7.546 million tonnes of wheat from 41 percent of the forecast area (2.75 million hectares) at the average yield 2.75 tonnes per hectare, reported Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
