UK: Greene King appoints John Brady as the new non-executive director
Greene King plc announced on June 14 the appointment of John Brady to the board as a non-executive director with effect from 24 June 2005.
John Brady was a director of McKinsey and Company until last year, having worked there for 24 years. During that time he led their European retail practice and European marketing practice.
Tim Bridge, chairman of Greene King, said: 'We look forward to welcoming John Brady to our board and believe that his strategic perspective and retail and marketing experience will be a great asset to us'.
This appointment brings the number of non-executives to six, including the chairman. There are also currently four executive directors, with a fifth, Justin Adams, starting in September, as advised recently.
No further details remain to be disclosed as required under chapter 16.4 of the FSA Listing Rules.
