Spain: Spanish barley production for 2005/2006

Spain Ministry of Agriculture estimated the barley production for 2005/2006 at 7.95 million metric tonnes against present campaign at 10.60 million metric tonnes.

Spain, unlike Portugal, has not requested aid from Brussels to supply grain from intervention stocks although it is expected.
