Mexico: 80% of Mexicans choose beer over other alcohol, survey shows
According to a survey conducted by the global consulting firm Appinio, 80% of Mexicans over the age of 18 will choose beer over other alcoholic beverages in 2024, FreshlyBottled.com reported on November 17.
This trend is even more pronounced among millennials (27-42 years old), reaching 88%, followed by Generation X (43-57 years old) and baby boomers (58-65 years old).
Customers are seeking new flavors, such as Indio Agave beer, which offers a unique experience: fusing the great taste of Indio beer with a delicate touch of blue agave.
The survey confirms that incorporating agave into beer not only enriches the flavor with sweet and distinctive notes but also connects with Mexico's cultural identity.
