Bosnia and Herzegovina: Belgian brewing force, InBev, has sold its 59% share in Bosnia’s Uniline brewery, South East Europe Newswire (SeeNews) communicated on 12 April. The stake was acquired by the local investor Marinko Zadro. After the acquisition Marinko Zadro owns 100% of Uniline Brewery.

About EUR 20 million has been invested in Uniline Brewery since its launching in 1999, Ivan Bilic, Uniline’s CFO, told SeeNews. No other details were disclosed.

Uniline Brewery is based in the southern part of the Muslim-Croat Federation, which together with the Serb Republic makes up post-war Bosnia. Uniline produces Ozujsko, a brand owned by InBev’s Croatian unit Zagrebacka Pivovara. Uniline had a market share of 12% in Bosnia in 2003.
