Mexico: Beer exports projected to top EUR6 billion in 2025
Mexican beer exports are projected to top 6.1 billion euro in 2025, a 10 percent increase on last year, according to Marcos Gottfried, director of Expo Cerveza Guadalajara 2025, FreshlyBottled.com reported on April 24.
If achieved, the figure would place Mexico among the worlds three largest beer‑exporting nations, alongside the Netherlands and Belgium.
The outlook is buoyed by the craft‑beer segment. Between 2023 and 2024 the number of craft‑beer outlets rose to 3,797; organisers expect the total to exceed 4,000 in 2025.
The United States accounts for roughly 80 percent of Mexicos beer exports, a share that could come under pressure if new U.S. tariff policies proposed by Donald Trump take effect.
