USA, WA: Heathen Brewing Feral Public House set to move but not quite yet
Downtown Vancouvers Heathen Brewing Feral Public House is set to move but not quite yet, the restaurants owner said.
Heathens 5,000-square-foot building at 1109 Washington St. went up for sale recently for just under $2.4 million.
After a lot of thought, weve decided to list the Feral building for sale, Heathen owner Sunny Parsons posted on social media. Not because anything is wrong, but because were shifting our vision for the future.
Parsons said the company plans to reinvest in one or two smaller locations that fit the vibe of our Brewery Kitchen location.
The Feral Public House opened in 2015 as an extension of Parsons Heathen Brewing, which moved into its Salmon Creek pub on Northeast 119th Street around 2013 after starting out as a direct-sale brewery.
Parsons company, Capital Fermentation Unlimited LLC, bought the downtown building in 2016 for $1.2 million, according to county records.
Finding the right buyer could take years, Parsons said.
So, he added, the Feral Public House is going to debut a streamlined menu and expanded cocktail selection.
He also said the restaurant will have a bigger focus on catering and private events.
No matter what, well continue to evolve and serve up the great food, drinks and atmosphere you love, he said.
