Australia: Australia's biggest hop grower slashes plantings in Tasmania and Victoria

Australia's biggest hop grower has slashed the amount of hops being grown for the new season at Bushy Park in southern Tasmania and the Rostrevor Hop Gardens in north east Victoria, ABC reported on December 12.

Hop Products Australia says there is a glut of hops on the world market as beer drinking practices change, after a long period of increased production in Australia year on year.
