EU: EU malt exports rebound in past two months

Malt exports from the EU have rebounded the past two months, moving into alignment with the crop’22 shipping levels and showing improvement over both crop’23 and crop’21 levels, RMI Analytics reported.

This is a slightly encouraging development for a malt industry already facing higher inventories at a time heading into the winter season, when malt stocks build normally. However, a further continuation of this improved trend is required before too much optimism is warranted.
