Ukraine: January-May beer output up 5.8%
Ukraines brewers produced 5.8% more beer in January-May this year, compared to the same period in 2023, trade association Ukrpyvo reported on June 13.
The output is reported at 5.4 million hl.
"Expert assessment of the volume of beer production in Ukraine (except for non-alcoholic beer) for the 5 months of 2024 is 5.4 mln hl, which is 105.8% compared to the same period in 2023, reads Ukrpyvos statement.
As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2023, Ukraine increased beer production by 7.8% year over year to 133.4 million decaliters (13.34 mln hl).
