USA, WI: Barrel 41 Brewing Co. to close at the end of the year
After five years serving the local craft beer community, Barrel 41 Brewing Co. in Neenah announced on December 11 that it will close at the end of the year, The Post-Crescent reported.
"With the conclusion of our lease, we were tasked with the difficult decision of what to do next," the business said in a post on its Facebook page. "We’ll treasure this chapter and the connections that we made, but have decided to check out what else the future holds for us!"
Located at 1132 S. Commercial St., Barrel 41 began as "a wild idea" between Nathan Sharpless and Lance Goodman to start a brewery in their hometown, and in 2018, that "dream" became a reality, according to the post.
The owners thanked "every person who stepped in our door & experienced the wonder that we set out to create."
The brewery's last day of business is Dec. 31, and "we will happily be pouring beer until the door is closed," the post states.
The owners did not immediately return requests for comment.
