Ukraine: In January 2005 Ukraine exported 400 tonnes of malt, of which 300 tonnes was sold to Russia at an average price of USD 240 per tonne; 80 tonnes to Moldova at an average price of US$ 323.75/t and 20 tonnes to Belarus at about US$ 410/t. In January the leading exporters were Berdichevskaya Malting Company, Kremenchug Beer and Mukachevsky brewery. The largest volumes of malt were purchased by Russian company Agroimpex and Maxgate Trade LLC.
