EU: Malting barley exports had been slow so far, although there are apparent outlets for EU malting barley of 750,000 tonnes outside China, market experts commented on February 28. Recently Russia has booked round about 50,000 tonnes of Czech and Slovak barley, and shipments of French barley in container to China have been reported as well.
