Brazil: Cooperativa Agrária to build specialty malt plant in Parana
Brazils Cooperativa Agraria is investing R$500 mln into the construction of a new malting plant in Guarapuava, state of Parana, Easycoop.com.br reported on June 22.
The construction works re scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2024 with start of production anticipated in 2026.
Joint venture with Germanys Ireks, this will be the first malting plant to produce specialty malts in Brazil which at the moment are imported into the country, the company said.
