Latvia: Beer production, exports increase in 2022

Latvia’s beer production amounted to 872.8 thousand hl last year, up 13.3% as compared to 2021, the State Revenue Service reported.

Imports amounted to 1.045 mln hl, 18% more than in 2021, bringing the total amount available for consumption to 1.312 mln hl.

The nation’s brewers increased the volume of beer exported by 86.9% to 569 thousand hl in 2022.
