USA: Anheuser-Busch Cos. paid President and Chief Executive Patrick T. Stokes a bonus of US$3.14 million for last year, Associated Press commented on February 7. Anheuser-Busch Cos.’s Chairman August A. Busch III received a bonus of US$1.35 million, the St. Louis-based brewer said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Anheuser-Busch said the bonuses were based on pretax 2004 earnings.

Other executives at Anheuser-Busch receiving bonus awards for 2004 included Vice President and Group Executive August A. Busch IV, who was awarded US$986,700, and Vice President and Financial Chief W. Randolph Baker, who was awarded US$627,900.
