Russia: Beer production up 1.8% in January-June
Russia’s brewers produced a total of 35.26 mln hl of beer in January-June this year, up 1.8% more than over the same period last year, Finmarket reported.
The second quarter output was up 1% to 19.99 mln hl.
The volume of beer-like drinks increased by 11.4% to 4.99 mln hl in H1 and by 7.4% to 2.82 mln hl in the second quarter of this year.
Total production of beer and beer-like drinks was 40.27 mln hl in the first half of this year, up 2.9% versus last year’s volume.
