Ukraine: January-June beer output down 32%, malt down by 42.5%

Ukraine’s beer output totalled 5.76 mln hl in January-June this year, 32% below the volume brewed over the same period in 2021, trade association Ukrpivo reported on July 11.

The association’s statistics don’t include zero alcohol beer and beer with less than 5% alc. by vol.

The nation’s January-June malt production was down 42.5% to 74,975 tonnes, it is reported.
