China's Kingway Brewery Holdings Ltd. surged nearly 22% to a seven-year high of HK$3.20 after it confirmed it was in preliminary talks with Dutch brewing giant Heineken NV, which is looking to increase its stake in the Chinese beer maker, Reuters revealed on January 21. The shares were up 11.43 percent at HK$2.925 by the midday recess.
