Ukraine: Beer production up, malt output down in January 2020

According to Ukrpivo data, Ukraine’s beer output in January this year amounted to 1 mln hl, which is 13.7% more than in January 2019, Pivnoe Delo reported on February 14.

The trade association does not include zero-alcohol beer and beer with less than 0.5% alcohol in its data.

The nation’s malt production is estimated to have totalled 21,745 tonnes last month, which is 6.7% less than in January 2019.
