Brewing news USA, IL: Brothership Brewing given approval to launch in Mokena village

At its Sept. 23 meeting, the Mokena village board approved a special use permit for Brothership Brewing. The brewery will be located at 18781 S. 90th Ave., in the Corporate Corridors North Business Park, Patch.com reported.

According to board documents, the brewery will include a 3,357-square-foot alcohol production facility as well as a tasting room.

The tentative hours of operation for the brewery are Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m.; Friday from 3 to 10 p.m.; Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. It would be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The planning commission unanimously recommended the project, and the village unanimously approved it.
