India, New Delhi: Cobra Beer Chief Executive Karan Bilimoria has been recognised as 'The Best Business Leader' by the Sage Business Awards 2004 and The Daily Telegraph. He was awarded 'The Best Business Leader' after receiving 42 per cent vote in the poll conducted by the Scottish Institute for Enterprise among 700 student entrepreneurs from Scotland's 13 universities, Sify Finance announced on November 14.

Bilimoria emerged as the most admired entrepreneur among the students, according to the poll. Earlier, he had received the prestigious Albert Medal, which is the highest honour from the Royal Society for the encouragement of arts, manufacture and commerce, a company statement said here.

Cobra Beer, one of the fastest growing beer brands in the UK, has also been recognised among 'Top 50 SMEs to work for' by Sunday Times earlier, the statement added.
