Canada, BC: Whistle Buoy Brewing now open in Victorias Market Square
A new brewery inspired by the natural beauty and urban energy of coastal BC is now open in Victorias Market Square, the Canadian Beer News reported on June 28.
Whistle Buoy Brewing has been founded by a team that includes brewer Matt West-Patrick, formerly of Spinnakers Brewpub.
Beers currently available by the glass, flight, and growler in the taproom include Homegrown SMASH Patio IPA (5% abv, 40 IBU), Fernwood Coffee Miled (3.6% abv, 14 IBU), Bridge Effect IPA (5.5% abv, 51 IBU), Gulagubben Scandinavian Golden Ale (4.2% abv, 25 IBU), and Coastality West Coast Pale Ale (5% abv, 33 IBU).
A number of other craft beverages are also available, along with a food menu of light snacks, and customers are welcome to bring in take-out food or order delivery to enjoy in the taproom or on the patio.
Whistle Buoy Brewing is located at Unit 63-560 Johnson Street in downtown Victoria, and is open from 11:00 AM to 12:00 midnight daily.
