EU: Malting barley market prices stabilize at lower levels

European malting barley market prices stabilized at lower levels this week, GrainCom reported in their latest newsletter on October 5.

Activity is slowly picking up with some turnover being reported in the French winter malting barley market. The premium for French spring malting barley is only about €13/tonne.

Internationally there is also only little activity, the analysts reported.
