Australia: Barley market rallies again

Australia’s barley market rallied again and remains very nervous, GrainCom reported in their latest newsletter.

More frosts occurred in Victoria and New South Wales. Hardly any rainfalls have been noticed during last week. ABARE states that there is a high chance that the October will be drier than average in central and eastern Australia. There is an increasing probability of an El Nino event this year, which would mean ongoing dryness in Australia (and a lot of moisture in Argentina), the analysts said.
