Ukraine: Barley stocks amount to 1.74 mln tonnes as of December 1
As of December 1, 2017 Ukraines barley reserves amounted to 1.74 million tonnes, which is 637.5 thousand tonnes less than the same indicator in 2016 (2.38 million tonnes), UkrAgroConsult reported on December 28.
The State Statistics Service of Ukraine informs that the highest reserves are at the enterprises of Odessa (321.4 thousand tonnes), Khmelnitsky (165.1 thousand tonnes) and Ternopil (133.1 thousand tonnes) regions.
It is noted that the lowest barley reserves are at the enterprises of Zakarpattia (0.7 thousand tonnes), Chernivtsi (8.9 thousand tonnes) and Volyn (17.8 thousand tonnes) regions.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine in January-November 2017 exported 4.78 million tonnes of barley worth of USD 699.89 million.
