Argentina: Argentina’s barley crop planting finished very late this year

Argentina’s barley planting was finished very late, most acreage estimates are around 720 – 730,000 ha, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported.

Mercosur will face smaller crops for a larger malting capacity. Imports from abroad (500,000 tonnes?) are very likely, the analysts forecast.
