China: Barley imports total 5.24 mln tonnes in January – July this year
China’s barley imports were 717,000 tonnes in July, 5.24 mln tonnes in Jan/July, of which 4.6 mln tonnes from Australia and 660,000 tonnes from Canada, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported last month.
In spite of the aggressive domestic corn sales program feed grain purchases have not been smaller than in the past. Beer sales in the country have stabilized.
