Spain & Portugal & Italy: Spain’s barley import demand estimated at up to 200 thousand tonnes this season

The Spanish barley import demand is estimated at 150-200,000 tonnes this season, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported early in September.

The analysts’ latest report also estimates Portugal’s barley needs at 60 – 90,000 tonnes.

The Italian industry believes there will be no or minimal import needs for barley this season, it is reported.
