Germany & Japan & USA: First half beer production declines versus H1 2016
According to the August report by H. M. Gauger GmbH, Germanys June beer production dropped 1.0%, whereas January-June output declined by 2.1%. Beer exports in the first half of 2017 were down 6.1%.
Japan reported for January-June a 1.3% decline in beer production, of which Pilsen type -1.4%, happoshu -2.4%, and 3rd category beer -0.7%.
The USA in June managed to increase output by 0.5%, however, January-June saw beer production decline by 1.5%.
