Brewing news Canada, NB: Long Bay Brewery opens in the town of Rothesay

The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that a new brewery has opened in the town of Rothesay, a suburb of Saint John in southern New Brunswick.

Long Bay Brewery opened last Friday June 30th with two beers available for growler fills – Chalice (6.5% abv, 25 IBU), a Belgian-style Golden Ale brewed with Grains of Paradise; and Bantam (5.5% abv, 40 IBU), an American Pale Ale dry-hopped with Cascade, Centennial, and Citra.

Long Bay is located at 82 Marr Road in Rothesay, and was open from 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM through the long weekend.
