USA, GA: Pontoon Brewing planning 11 thousand square foot brewery in Sandy Springs

Sandy Springs is getting a new brewery.

Pontoon Brewing is planning an 11,000-square-foot brewery in Northridge Business Park at 8601 Dunwoody Place, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.

It’s the first space for Pontoon, which has been contract brewing its beers at other facilities in Greenville, S.C., and Savannah, Ga. Its beers include a “Southern Skipper White IPA” and a “No Pants Pilsner.”

In Sandy Springs, Pontoon will open a 10-barrel, six vessel brew house. It will have a large taproom and décor inspired by a dockside lifestyle.

The hope is to open by September 2017.

“We love the relaxed lifestyle of enjoying beer with friends on a pontoon boat,” said Pontoon partner Sean O’Keefe. “Our vision here is to appeal to the business community and offer a relaxing way to spend time after a day at work.”
