Hong Kong: China Resources Breweries Ltd, the country's second-largest beer maker, said on May 18 it has acquired a 90 percent stake in two breweries in Anhui province for 280 million yuan (US$33.8 million). The acquisition price included the assumption of certain liabilities of 82 million yuan, it said in a statement.
CRB is a joint venture between the world's number two beermaker SABMiller Plc and Beijing-backed conglomerate China Resources Enterprise.
