Russian brewing force SUN Interbrew, the joint venture between Belgian brewer Interbrew SA and SUN Group of Russia, is forecasting full-year sales in Russia and Ukraine to rise by at least 10 % in comparison with 2002 year Belgian daily L'Echo reported. According to the report Joseph Strella, SUN Interbrew’s general manager said: "The volume we sell this year will be in double (percentage growth rate) figures compared with a year earlier." SUN Interbrew made an encouraging start to the year with strong showings in Russia and Ukraine due to improved marketing and commercial performance, following the presentation of following first quarter earnings, said the company earlier this month.
