Ukraine: Agricultural producers have already practically exhausted their feed barley reserves

There was no active trade on feed barley market, Agro Perspectiva reported April 10. Ukrainian agricultural producers have already practically exhausted their feed barley reserves; as of now, main reserves are owned by exporters, what means that any significant changes on barley market are hardly possible in near future. Market operators didn’t change their purchase prices.

Feed barley exporters purchase prices were UAH880–920 per MT, CPT port.

Feed barley US$ prices ranged within US$170–180 per MT (FOB)/US$160–170 per MT (CPT port).

This week is characterized with feed barley prices growth. Due to grains low offer many processing companies had to raise purchase prices averagely by UAH10–20 per MT. Feed barley prices growth was initiated by exporters having intensified demand to feed barley purchases.
