Bulgaria: Zagorka is the beer No 1 in 2006
"Zagorka", the "Heineken"-owned beer maker, reported a profit of almost 6 million EUR in 2006, which is 26% over the previous year, Bulgaria News reported February 26.
The beer company sold 1,538,205 hectoliters of the ale last year. The increase of 9% is made mainly by the "Heineken", "Zagorka" and "Ariana" brands.
"Zagorka" led the market last year with a 30% share, followed by InBev-the owner of "Kamenitza" and "Carlsberg" Bulgaria.
