Ukraine: Beer import in decrease

Ukrainian State Statistic Committee published the information about beer export and import for 11 months of 2006, Russian Beer Union announced on January 4.

Beer export decreased 7.6% or 1.4 mln litres to 17.3 mln litres in November 2006 compared with October 2005 and with 8% or 1.5 mln liters compared with November 2005.

In January – November 2006, beer export has grown 16.9% or 40 mln litres and constituted 280.6 mln litres compared with the same period of 2005.

Beer import decreased 8.9% or 51.1 thousand litres to 570.42 thousand litres in November 2006 compared with October 2005 and with 79.7% or 2 mln litres compared with November 2005.

In January – November 2006, beer export decreased 62.8% or 29.5 mln litres and constituted 17.5 mln litres compared with the same period of 2005.
