2005 was a good year for the French beer market thanks to the hot summer and consumers increased interest in specialty beers like abbey and beer produced by micro-brewers, Gérard Laloi, the new president of French Brewers Associciation have recently commented.
Beer consumption in France increased by 0.6 % in 2005 compared to 2004, after 25% drop during the last 25 years, AFP posted on April 11.
