Tunisia: SFBT reports rise in beer sales in 2022
Tunisias leading beer maker La Société de fabrication des boissons de Tunisie (SFBT) has reported its performance in 2022. The company reached a total turnover of 813 million dinars against 730.5 million in 2021, or an increase of 11%.
Local sales of soft drinks stood at 178.6 million dinars (+18%) at the end of December, while exports reached 28.5 million (-15.7%).
As for local sales of beer, they amounted to 553 million dinars, against 500.5 million in 2021, up about 10.5%. In volume, SFBT sold 185.6 million litres of beer last year, against 176 million litres in 2021.
In addition, SFBT invested a total of 41.2 million dinars, against 15.6 million in 2021. These investments are composed mainly of purchases of equipment for 25 million dinars and packaging for 11.8 million dinars.
